Dispatch in Incharge

Job Type : Fixed Term Employment

  • POSITION OVERVIEW

This position is responsible for managing the customer order and efficiency of each of our truck routes, communicating specific delivery details to our drivers, and tying up loose logistical ends before final delivery times.

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business management/logistics
  • Has at least 3 years’ experience as dispatch  or similar position
  • Has at least 2-years’ experience working in delivery or logistics management.
  • Is meticulously detail-oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
  • Is fully engaged with our mission Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  •  Experience working in an Agriculture business company is an added advantage.
  •  Knowledge of variety of fruits and vegetables both local and international.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • -          Coordinate dispatch of orders as per the route plan.

    -          Coordinate with the packing supervisor by confirming all packed orders before loading

    -          Tracking of available trucks ready for use in Coordination with the dispatch supervisor and logistics supervisor

    -          Tracking all remainders in liaison with both the dispatch and store supervisor.

    -          Prepare and maintain updated records of orders dispatched and report the same to the immediate supervisor & location head

    -          Coordinate and ensure all packed orders are dispatched in good time

    -          Maintain timelines on time slot as per daily shared route plan

    -          Confirm quantity of items being dispatched.

    -          Ensure all delivery executives follow the route plan sequence

    -          Track all rejected produce from clients and ensure proper records for the same
